Type: Grass
This move increases your Special Attack. When you use a move that is your Pokémon's type, the Special Attack is added to the normal attack. So, using Growth a lot of times will make your Vine Whip really powerful!
In Red and Blue, this raises your Special, and Special determines if you have a Critical Hit and how fast your Pokémon will grow.
