Adjustments:

  • Use the graphical mixer to change volume, pan, transposition for each channel
  • You can send each MIDI voice to a different SoundFont.
  • Change midi instruments
  • Change the tempo
  • Save these modifications back to a midi file

Render to wav:

  • Save to 16bit or 24bit stereo audio.
  • Built-in post-processing effects like Low Pass Filter and Reverb.

Get information:

  • Use the score-view to see the notes in a track.
  • Use the event-list to see raw MIDI events.
  • Use the SoundFont information tool to show the instruments within a soundfont and preview them.

bmidi to wav now supports .cfg and .pat files in addition to SoundFonts, and 
therefore gaining support for eawpats and freepats.
From Audio->Choose Soundfont...->Change... you can choose a .cfg file
In Linux, note that a cfg file in the directory /etc/timidity can take precedence.
